Active Days 55+ Grand Opening
Active Days launches on National Seniors Day
In celebration of National Seniors Day, the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc officially launched Active Days! A recreational program designed for adults aged 55+ for a variety of interests and ability levels. The program offers activities that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
" We really want there to be something for everyone," Explained Julia Kitchen, Senior Recreation Program Coordinator for Active Days. "Our programs are designed around different interests and accessibility needs."
The Active Day program, which is located at Caradoc Community Centre, 565 Lion’s Park Dr., Mount Brydges, ON N0L 1W0, goes beyond healthy living, but emphasizes on the importance of social connection.
Residents can participate in programs like:

Nature Walks (with bird watching included)

Euchre

Rug Hooking

Lunch Club

Bocce Ball

Book Club
Residents can register for programming through the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc registration portal. Alternatively, participants can register by calling customer service at 519-245-1070.
