Swimming Lessons (2025) |
- Session 1: June 30 – July 11, 2025 - No lessons will be held on July 1, 2025, with the exception of Bronze sessions
- Session 2: July 14 - 25, 2025
- Session 3: July 28 - August 8, 2025
- Session 4: August 11 - 22, 2025
Please note all lessons will be offered in accordance with Life Saving Society swim program modules as the Canadian Red Cross Swimming program will be winding down. Please note updated program descriptions when registering for the program of your choice.

About Fair Grounds Aquatic Park
Fair Grounds Aquatic Park is located at 334 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, at the Fair Grounds Recreation Complex--a 15-acre park space featuring baseball diamonds, tennis courts, pavilion and picnic areas, Sleepy Hollow miniature railway, and the West Middlesex Memorial Centre arena. The aquatic park features men's, ladies, and family change areas, as well as a shaded spectator area.

- Volunteer with the Municipality's Aquatic Programs (must be 13 years of age or older)
Program Registration Refunds
- Participants who make a written cancellation request 8 weeks or more prior to the start of activity will be charged a $25 administration and processing fee or an amount equal to half of their total activity fee (whichever is less). The remainder of the activity fee will be refunded.
- Participants who make a written cancellation request between 14 – 56 days prior to the start of the activity may elect to have the full fee amount left as a credit on their account for use within one calendar year, or can have half refunded and the other half left as a credit in their client wallet.
- Participants who request cancellation within 14 days of their activity start date, will not receive a refund for the program. Cancellation or withdrawal of participation during the program will result in loss of the activity fee and no refunds will be made.
- Participants can request a transfer to another aquatic program with availability at no additional cost or loss of paid fees.
- If there is a price difference, the difference will be left as a credit on your account or will need to be paid at time of transfer
Emergency Cancellation
- If the cancellation is deemed an emergency the full amount may be refunded at the discretion of the Community Services Department.
Program Integration and Volunteer Assistance
The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc is committed to providing access to services for all persons. Persons with special needs are welcome to attend any recreation activity compatible with their interests and abilities. Participants are encouraged to bring their own volunteer support. This volunteer could be a friend, spouse, family member or caregiver. The volunteer is not charged a fee when they attend a program with a paying, registered participant.
