Council Directs Next Steps for 137 Frank Street Exterior Planning
Council received an information report outlining the condition of the exterior of the future Municipal Service and Community Centre at 137 Frank Street. The assessment identified repairs required to the building's brickwork, drainage, windows, and exterior finishes.
The approved Phase 1 interior renovations remain on schedule, with Municipal Customer Service expected to relocate to 137 Frank Street in Fall 2026.

Council Approves Phase 2 Interior Renovations at 137 Frank Street
Council has approved Phase 2 interior renovations at 137 Frank Street, continuing work to prepare the future Municipal Service and Community Centre for occupancy, while excluding work related to the large room/gymnasium following direction provided earlier in the meeting.
This phase includes accessibility improvements, new flooring, display panels, hallway modifications, painting, and window coverings.
Staff also advised Council that the building's major systems continue to perform well. HVAC units are operating as intended, boiler repairs have been completed, and there are currently no water infiltration issues within the building.
